Customs and Duties

Any taxes, duties or customs fees are the responsibility of the customer. We ship our orders DDU (delivered duties unpaid). We do not collect any money for these things, nor do we have any knowledge about the specific policies of your country, and cannot offer assistance on these processes. For more information regarding your country's customs policies, please contact your local customs office. Because you (or the recipient of the products, if different) will be the importer for all international deliveries of the products, it's your responsibility to check that any products ordered comply with state and federal government import regulations, and that there are no local requirements or restrictions which may affect your goods. Make sure you check this before you order. If your order gets stuck in customs, you or the recipient will need to contact your local customs office and pay any additional charges or taxes to release the goods. 🇺🇸🇨🇦 Important Information for US & Canada Buyers

For Customers Shipping to the United States

  • Abolition of the Duty-Free Threshold: Please note that the United States has officially suspended the traditional $800 de minimis duty exemption for commercial imports.

  • Duties Due on All Orders: Regardless of the order value, all packages entering the US are now subject to customs assessment. Duties, local taxes, and standard carrier processing fees are determined directly by US Customs and Border Protection.

  • Payment at Delivery: These charges are not collected by us at checkout. They are billed directly to the recipient by the carrier (such as DHL or the postal service) during customs clearance prior to final delivery.

For Customers Shipping to Canada

  • Standard Import Limits: Shipments entering Canada remain subject to standard Canadian cross-border thresholds. Orders exceeding the standard de minimis allowances ($20 CAD for international mail; $150 CAD for specific regional carrier streams) will be subject to applicable GST/HST and customs duties collected by the carrier upon arrival.

🇪🇺 Important Information for Customers Shipping to the European Union (EU)

Due to European customs regulations, how import taxes and duties are handled depends entirely on your total order value. Please read the following carefully before completing your purchase:

For Orders of €150 or Less (Low-Value Shipments)

  • No Tax Collected at Checkout: We are not registered for the EU’s Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS). This means we do not collect Value Added Tax (VAT) or customs fees when you pay for your order on our website.

  • Abolition of Duty-Free Exemption: Please note that as of July 1st, 2026 the EU has completely eliminated the €150 duty-free (de minimis) exemption. All low-value imports are now subject to customs fees.

  • Payment Upon Arrival: Your local postal service, courier, or customs authority will calculate and collect the required VAT and either a standard flat-rate customs duty (€3 per item category) or the actual applicable product duty rate directly from you before delivering your package.

  • Carrier Handling Fees: Depending on the local delivery service or carrier (such as DHL) handling your package, a standard administrative processing or brokerage fee may be applied to clear your parcel through local customs. These local processing fees, along with any assessed VAT or duties, are handled directly by the recipient upon arrival.

For Orders Exceeding €150

  • Standard Import Treatment: Orders over €150 bypass the low-value framework.

  • Duties and Taxes Due at Border: Standard import VAT and full percentage-based customs duties will apply to your shipment. These charges are calculated by your country’s customs border and are entirely payable by you, the importer, upon the package's arrival in the EU.

🚨Refusal of Delivery / Unpaid Duties🚨
If an order is refused on arrival due to unpaid duties, taxes, or customs fees, the shipment will be abandoned or disposed of and no refunds will be issued. All charges related to customs clearance and acceptance of the shipment are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Remote Areas
We ship exclusively with DHL. DHL maintains its own list of remote or out-of-delivery areas based on postal codes. If your zip code falls within this classification, we will automatically cancel and refund your order. Shipping to remote areas significantly increases delivery costs—costs we’re currently unable to absorb.
